Judge Michael Cicconetti is NOT here for your games girl.

The judge sentenced Victoria Bascom to walk 30 miles in 48 hours after failing to pay a cab driver. The Ohio woman, claimed she wasn’t the the last passenger to leave the cab, and believed the other riders would cover the fare.

Judge Cicconetti asked Victoria, “What would you do if you didn’t have a cab?”

“Walk,” replied Victoria.

“So I think it’s only appropriate that you walk the 30 miles,” he said.

Cicconetti told Victoria, you can walk these 30 miles or serve 30 days in jail. Of course, Victoria decided to walk those 30 miles instead. The court will monitor her progress with a GPS. In addition to her 30 miles, Victoria will also serve three days of community service and pay restitution to the cab service.

Judge Cicconetti is well known for his interesting sentences. He has previously sentenced criminals to spend the night in the woods, and even sentenced a woman to mace herself after she maced someone in a Burger King.

The judge told a local newstation, “I wouldn’t do anything illegal. Will there be maybe some public feedback or whatever? I don’t care. I do whatever I think is right. I do whatever I think will prevent a person from coming back in the courts again.”

What do you guys think? Is the judge wrong for this? Does the rule an eye for an eye still apply?
