This is becoming a hot mess. According to a Florida woman, hip-hop mogul 50 Cent invaded her privacy by posting a video on the Internet of her having sex with her boyfriend. But 50 is shifting the blame to fellow rapper Rick Ross, saying it was actually Ross who posted the clip.

Lastonia Leviston is suing, but 50 tried to get out of a state trial by filing a federal bankruptcy petition for his boxing promotion company. A federal judge however isn’t having it, and recently refused to let the music entrepreneur skip out of the trial over the video.

“Judge Katherine Failla separated the two cases at the request of a young Florida mother who accuses the rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, of humiliating her and invading her privacy by posting a video on the Internet of her having sex with a boyfriend,” reports The New York Daily News.

Leviston, 36, says Jackson posted the video in 2009 to taunt his rival, Ross, because Ross is the father of her child. The post got four million views. A jury was to be selected earlier this week in state court, but this was postponed due to 50 Cent abruptly filing bankruptcy for SMS Promotions, just one of 50’s companies.

While SMS may be in trouble, 50 Cent is far from broke. He reportedly netted $100 million in the sale of shares in VitaminWater.

According to Leviston’s lawyer, jury selection should begin next week.
