#JusticeForAvalynn Goes Viral After Pictures Of Badly Bruised Toddler Hit Social Media

What would you do if your toddler came home from school with black eyes and a bloody nose only for school officials to tell you that she was hurt while “playing on the playground” but insisting no other children were involved? Well the mother of Ava Lynn of Pascagoula, Mississippi wasn’t convinced either that a swing set nor a jungle gym were responsible for her daughter’s bruised and battered face.

According to Gulf Live when Ava Lynn’s mother, Lacey Harris filed a police report last Thursday, Pascagoula Police Dept. Lt., Jim Roe stated:

“The mother alleges another child kicked her child on the slide.”

“Right now, there’s no indication something criminal took place. I have spoken with school security and an assistant superintendent is investigating the matter.”

Subsequently a Facebook page called Justice For AvaLynn as well as well as a GoFundMe account were started to help raise money for Ava Lynn’s medical bills and it’s reported that the sites raised over $1000 in one day.

The Facebook page says that Ava Lynn was “attacked by another student on the school playground. We are fighting for answers and for greater supervision at school,” although the GoFundMe account states Ava Lynn “was badly injured in an incident at her elementary school.” Meanwhile vague details are playing on people’s heartstrings and purses as to exactly who (or what) is to blame. Roe said Pascagoula police are not actively investigating the details.

We all know kids can do a number on themselves while playing at times, and sometimes kids fight, but is this something more sinister? Either way, where were school staff when all this was happening? We hope little Ava Lynn recovers soon and justice is served if indeed foul play was responsible for her injuries.

Have You Heard Of The “Shmoney Dance”?

In further proof that it doesn’t take much to be famous these days, I want to introduce you to Bobby Shmurda. If you never heard of this dude until now, he’s a rapper from Brooklyn who’s signed to Epic records. And I am willing to bet he’s had more run-in’s with the law than he currently has singles. His song “Hot Ni**a” peaked at number 43 on the Hot Billboard 100 and features not only the infamous “Shmoney Dance” but has also been remixed by several rappers including Juicy J., French Montana, Jeezy and T.I..

Did we mention that Shmurda was arrested earlier this summer in June on felony criminal possession of a weapon and is facing 15 years in prison? And just a few days ago during a nightclub appearance in New Jersey, someone shot at Club Eden where Shmurda was performing before pulling out of the lot. No word on whether Mr. Shmurda had anything to do with the incident. We hope he can “Shmoney Dance” his way out of all this trouble.

Our friends at TMZ noticed the “Shmoney Dance” was eerily similar to the “Diddy Bop” made famous by producer/rapper Diddy when artists were complaining about him sashaying through all of his artists’ videos as a glorified hype man in the nineties. So TMZ took it upon themselves to create a dance-off between Shmurda and Diddy in an edition of “Who Did It Better?”. We have a feeling people will be over this dance craze faster than you can say, “Wobble Baby”, but take a look for yourselves:

With all of the extra security measures, we thought we wouldn’t see anything documenting Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s wedding day for awhile. But thanks to the social media gods, friends and family managed to leak a few pics of guests, rehearsal dinners and other details that made the day so special. Gabby is pictured above with dress designer Dennis Basso at her pre-wedding fitting. And way to break tradition, as female attendees were welcome to wear white. Gabby’s not worried about any competition clearly!

Sadly, Keri, from what I’ve witnessed the standards for relationships are at an all-time low among both sexes. I’ve had men look at my engagement ring AND ask me when the baby is due before asking me for my phone number. These are desperate times we’re living in and social media has made it even easier to be thirstier than ever with absolutely no shame.

Although there aren’t many winners of supermodel Tyra Bank’s series America’s Next Top Model that can honestly say their careers are reflecting their crowns, Banks is still hanging in there and just may be bringing a secret weapon to the current season of the show.

19-year-old Chantelle Brown-Young suffers from vitiligo (a skin discoloration most closely associated with Michael Jackson in which the cells that cause pigmentation die). In addition to her 223,000 followers on Instagram, she can add Tyra Banks to the list of her biggest fans.

Harlow was about four years old when the first signs of discoloration began to appear. She has discussed being teased when she was younger and being called names like “zebra” and “milky”. She was discovered by a Toronto photographer before moving from Canada to California to pursue a modeling career and now uses her fame to promote positivity and acceptance, often posting inspirational musings based on her own upbringing:

“Ever wish you could go back to the younger you and say ‘Don’t worry baby, it gets better’.”

“We have nothing different about ourselves. It’s just skin.“

Harlow appears on Cycle 21 of #ANTM which premiered on August 18. She is already making moves despite backing from Banks. Today’s The Big Day! D-Wade And Gabby Union To Wed In Castle

After making guests sign confidentiality agreements and taking extra lengths to ensure security, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union will make it official today in a wedding ceremony that TMZ reports will take place in a Miami castle.

Dwyane and Gabby will exchange “I do’s” in the “Chateau Artisan”, a moated castle where rapper/producer Birdman shot his 2010 video for “Fire Flame”. Keeping in their theme for extreme privacy, it makes sense that the moated castle with extra security appealed to the couple.

Chateau Artisan boasts 19,000 square feet including 8 bedrooms, 7.5 baths and sits on 14 acres.

The couple will not allow cell phones into the ceremony and guests will have to show photo ID upon arrival. Don’t expect any live-tweeting of the affair since guests just may face some hefty fines for not obeying the couple’s rules. But strangely enough, the couple themselves have been using the official hashtag “#WadeUnion” in reference to the affair.

We understand the want for privacy from the pair on their special day, but is anyone checking that hard for these two? I think most of our national monuments have less security than this wedding. All of these extra lengths to keep the paparazzi and over-zealous fans at bay seems a tad bit unnecessary. Either way, we wish them the best on their big day.

Speaking of rumors that came completely out of left field, it appears that there has also been talk of a secret romance between Kenya Moore and Kordell Stewart. The former pageant queen recently took to Twitter to shut down the whispers—not that we’re really sure people were believing them in the first place.

#Random: Essence Atkins To Officiate Bestie Gabrielle Union’s Wedding This Weekend

Earlier today, we told you that Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade reportedly went as far as to have their wedding guests sign confidentiality agreements to keep details about the ceremony from leaking to the media. But it looks like Gabby’s bestie, Essence Atkins, never received the hush-hush memo.

Hip Hollywood recently caught up with the “Haunted House 2″ actress, who revealed that she and her husband, Jaime Mendez, will be officiating the couple’s ceremony this weekend.

“I’m not feeling a way about [Gabby not having bridesmaids] because I’m officiating the ceremony,” Essence revealed.

“My husband and I are officiating the ceremony,” she continued. “My husband did a ceremony for Alfonso Ribeiro a couple of years ago and they asked us to do it together so we are officiating.”

The wife and mother went on to say that Gabby’s ceremony will actually be her first time officiating a wedding

“This will be my first time. No pressure! No pressure whatsoever!”

While I have to admit that this news is extremely random, having your bestie officiate your wedding ceremony sounds like it has the potential to be pretty cool. I also can’t blame Gabby for wanting someone who knows her personally to officiate, considering that the reverend at her last ceremony didn’t even pronounce her name correctly.

“The pastor who married me—the first time—he didn’t even get my name right,” Gabrielle told Arsenio Hall back in February. “Yeah, no. He refused to come to the rehearsal dinner and then didn’t say my name correctly. I even pronounced my own name incorrectly so this should’ve been a sign that it wasn’t gonna work.”

It’s no secret that celebrity men have women throwing themselves at them and these male stars clearly took the bait, or so it seems, because they had women coming out of the woodwork accusing them of fathering a love child.

In his latest song, Lil Wayne jokes that he has women having babies every week and that may not be too far off from the truth. The New Orleans rapper, who infamously had three women pregnant at the same time, was recently slapped with a paternity suit. A New Orleans woman claimed that the “Believe Me” rapper is the father of her 12-year-old son. She originally reached out to Weezy and his camp back when he was locked up in Riker’s Island but the judge had the DNA test delayed until Wayne was released from prison. It’s interesting to note that the boy’s first name is Dwayne, the same as his alleged daddy’s.

Kandi Burruss Says She’s Still Trying To Get Pregnant: ‘We Thought It Would Just Happen’

Though she made it clear that she’s not pregnant yet, Kandi Burruss says she’s definitely still trying.

“I want to get pregnant this year!” she told In Touch Weekly.

“Knock it out by 39! I just don’t want to keep waiting,” she continued.

According to Kandi, she thought that they’d be able to conceive without putting forth any real effort. But now that it hasn’t happened, they’re being more proactive about it.

“At first, we thought it would just happen, but it hasn’t yet. So now we’re clocking days and making an effort. We really want to start a family together.”

She adds that she’s still hoping for a boy and wouldn’t be opposed to undergoing fertility treatments to make it happen.

“I always wanted to have a son!” she exclaimed. “We’re even open to in vitro fertilization. The cool part about that is we could guarantee a boy.”

Hopefully Kandi gets her baby boy sooner than later.

“It Kinda Felt Like A Competition”: Diamond Says Relationship With Scrappy Suffered Because He Was Jealous Of Her Success

Ever been with a man who you felt you couldn’t share good news with because he always tried to downplay your accomplishments? It’s not easy, and someone who knows that from experience is rapper Diamond. We all know about her relationship with Scrappy of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” fame, and we know that when they split after a few years together, things got ugly (and she moved on quickly to Soulja Boy). But the “Sisterhood of Hip-Hop” star shared on the show that a big reason their relationship didn’t work out was because she didn’t feel like the rapper was supportive. After cast member Siya spoke on her girlfriend not supporting the work she does by starting unnecessary drama, Diamond shared her story. Though Scrappy has had some hits (“Money In The Bank” and “No Problem” for instance), Diamond says that when she was focused on her career and started doing big things, he acted more jealous than encouraging.

“Sounds so familiar.

I was in a relationship with my ex Lil Scrappy. He was a bit jealous. So, it kinda felt like a competition.

You’re supposed to be with someone who is going to uplift and add to the equation. You’re not supposed to be dimming your light. That’s what I was doing with Scrap. All because I can’t come home and share accomplishments because you’re going to rain on my parade…then everybody else is your cot damn co-star.”

And on a side note, Scrappy was all in the video when Diamond was featured on Ludacris’ “My Bad Chick” remix.

As we told you recently, Scrappy said that when Diamond left him, he took it quite hard.

“Boy I’m going to tell you, I’m not going to lie to you. Man law! Your boy cried. You feel me, I cried.

You know let me tell you something when I cried like that I knew then I never been in love before. I thought I was in love with my baby mama. I never been in love before.”

For several months, it has been speculated that “Orange Is The New Black” star Samira Wiley has been dating writer for the show, Lauren Morelli. From the looks of it, the couple decided to go public with their relationship the night of the Emmys. The pair were photographed holding hands as they made their way out of Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

Fans first began questioning the nature of the relationship between the two after they kept popping up in photos on one another’s Instagram pages.

“Weekend #turnup w/ @lomorelli!! #success #iloveyougirl,” Samira captioned a photo of Lauren back in April

Interestingly, Lauren was previously married to a man, but revealed in an open letter published to Mic.com that after writing for the show, she realized that she’s gay.

“Five months after my wedding, I flew to New York to start production on my first episode of Orange, and from that moment on my life fell into a parallel rhythm with Piper’s story in a way that went from interesting to terrifying in a matter of months,” she wrote.

“Despite being 31 years old,” she continued “Having lived in extremely liberal cities for 13 years of my life and considering myself an educated individual, over the last year I:

1. Googled “How do you know if you’re a lesbian?” There had to be, like, a quiz or something, right?

I was suicidal in a way that I hadn’t been since eighth grade, when I took a bunch of Tylenol and went to sleep. The next morning I woke up feeling refreshed from the great sleep and excited that I could tell my friends about how depressed I was.”

“I went through it all on set: I fell in love with a woman, and I watched my life play out on screen. And now, as we are gearing up for the release of season 2, it feels liberating and appropriate to live my life in front of you.”

Fans first began questioning the nature of the relationship between the two after they kept popping up in photos on one another’s Instagram pages.

Interestingly, Lauren was previously married to a man, but revealed in an open letter published to Mic.com that after writing for the show, she realized that she’s gay.

“Five months after my wedding, I flew to New York to start production on my first episode of Orange, and from that moment on my life fell into a parallel rhythm with Piper’s story in a way that went from interesting to terrifying in a matter of months,” she wrote.

“Despite being 31 years old,” she continued “Having lived in extremely liberal cities for 13 years of my life and considering myself an educated individual, over the last year I:

1. Googled “How do you know if you’re a lesbian?” There had to be, like, a quiz or something, right?

2. Wondered if it was my birth control. I’d just switched to an IUD, could it be affecting whom I was attracted to? Really. That was a thing I thought and even went as far as mentioning it to my therapist, who has a doctorate in sexual identity and did a very good job patiently explaining that, no, birth control couldn’t change essential sexual preference.

3. Wanted to die. If being gay meant losing the person I loved most in the world, if it meant coming out to my parents and tearing open the most vulnerable, soft parts of myself and showing them to everyone I knew, I would rather be dead. I was suicidal in a way that I hadn’t been since eighth grade, when I took a bunch of Tylenol and went to sleep. The next morning I woke up feeling refreshed from the great sleep and excited that I could tell my friends about how depressed I was.”

“I went through it all on set: I fell in love with a woman, and I watched my life play out on screen. And now, as we are gearing up for the release of season 2, it feels liberating and appropriate to live my life in front of you.”

Monyetta Shaw Speaks On Ne-Yo’s Latest Situationship With Crystal Renay

Although he’s still technically living with ex-fiancée, Monyetta Shaw, and their two children, there’s obviously a new lady in Ne-Yo’s life. For months, the singer has been sharing photos of himself with model Crystal Renay. While it’s evident that the two are romantically involved, Ne-Yo made it clear that she is not actually his girlfriend. During a recent interview with NecoleBitchie, Monyetta also addressed her ex’s newfound love interest.

“I really don’t think much of it right now,” she explained. “When it gets serious, that’s when I will dedicate the time to think about it because we have two little kids so it’s kind of not just us. So that person has to be amazing because they’re little kids and they’re so impressionable.

I can’t even think about [Crystal] right now. But when it gets to that point, we’ll cross that point. But I wish him the best.”

She also discussed still living with Ne-Yo.

“I think it kind of made it harder in the beginning. However, time heals all things. And he’s away more than he’s here. And he has a good heart and he’s a good person. Like I said, everyone has their vices, you know? But he’s a good dude overall and that’s how we’re able to be friends.

I like to say that we’re starting a movement. We’re not going to be the stereotypical ‘I hate my baby daddy. I hate my baby momma’ thing. You’re not going to see that. We’re going to start this movement that we can all get along and we can be classy about the situation and be a great example to our kids. That’s what it’s about at the end of the day.”

As for whether or not she thinks she will ever get back with Ne-Yo, Monyetta had this to say:

“I’ll always have that love for him. He’s a good guy. But at the place where he’s at and I’m at, it doesn’t make sense right now. Only God knows.

“You know, people grow apart. People change. Like I said, only time will tell. I think I will forever have a special, special place in my heart for him. I know that will never change. I’m open to the possibility of love, whatever that may look like. If God [will] send the right person to me. Now if God works with him and sends him back, that’s on God. And if not, I’m cool with that. Who knows? Right now I’m good and I wish him the best. It’s all love.”

Apparently, there were some lesbian rumors flying around about Jennifer Hudson. According to PrideSource, the rumors were fueled by the singer’s 2013 performance of “Same Love” with Macklemore and Mary Lambert at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

“If someone ever questions or thinks that, I don’t care what you think. It shouldn’t matter. And I did get that! Because again, I grew up around a lot of that and that’s the world that embraced me first, so that I’ve never fully gathered.”

She also discussed gay men and their love for her Dreamgirls performance of “And I’m Telling You.”

“The song has its own spirit. It has an effect on everyone, but definitely on the gay community. I think they relate to it in a different type of way – in a special way. A lot of gay men I’ve met, they’re like, “In my heart, I am Effie.’ I relate to Effie, and I think that’s part of the connection. It’s a real situation that we all go through.”

Have It Their Way? Burger King Consumers Plan Boycott If Chain Moves To Canada

Customers definitely aren’t having it their way over at Burger King. In fact, fans of the fast food chain are upset that the U.S.-based company may be packing up and heading to Canada.

It’s all part of a plan by BK to avoid U.S. taxes through a merger deal with Canadian coffee and doughnut chain Tim Hortons. The new company would be headquartered across the border and BK would save a ton of money in taxes. “The corporate tax rate in the U.S. is 35 percent, the highest in the world. Canada’s is about 15 percent,” reports The Huffington Post. This process of American companies buying smaller international firms and relocating is called a “tax inversion” and is more than frowned upon by the U.S. government as even President Obama recently vowed to stop tax inversions. Burger King would still pay U.S. taxes on domestic sales.

People are taking to BK’s Facebook page to voice their outrage and have even threatened a boycott. “Thousands of Burger King’s seven-million-plus Facebook fans have described the fast-food restaurant with words like ‘traitor’ and ‘un-American’,” reports Business Insider.

Buying Tim Hortons will also help BK compete with rivals McDonald’s and Taco Bell in the fast-food war over breakfast.

But a boycott could stop the BK-TimHortons merger. When consumers vowed to boycott Walgreen recently, the chain axed its plan to re-incorporate in low-tax Switzerland. More than 300,000 signed a petition to boycott the chain. The same pressure is being planned for BK. According to Roger Hickey, the co-director of the Campaign for America’s Future, which spearheaded the Walgreen petition, the group will launch a similar public plea within the next few days.

There is another petition being organized on MoveOn.org. And leftist Occupy Democrats group is calling for a boycott as well. Politicians have even gotten into the act. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) has urged customers to eat at Wendy’s or White Castle and to skip Burger King.

“Burger King’s decision to abandon the United States means consumers should turn to Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers or White Castle sliders,” the Ohio Democrat said in a statement. “Burger King has always said ‘Have it Your Way’; well my way is to support two Ohio companies that haven’t abandoned their country or customers.”

Shareholders however seem to like the relocation idea. The company’s stock price jumped nearly 20 percent to $32.40 on Monday.

Social Worker Allegedly Forced Mom To Have Sex By Threatening To Take Children

In extremely disturbing news, AL.com is reporting that an Alabama mother filed a lawsuit yesterday after a former Child Protective Services employee allegedly threatened to take her children.

According to the lawsuit, one week after being assigned a particular case last summer, Brandon Howard Daniel, 29, showed up to the woman’s home to “inspect the house.” The lawsuit goes on to say that the following day, Daniel showed up again claiming that he needed to “inspect the bedroom.” He then allegedly demanded that the woman give him “something in return for not taking her kids.” The woman alleges that he then forced her to perform sexual acts on him.

In her suit, the woman names Daniel, his supervisor Rasheda Guley and director of the Shelby County Department Of Human Resources Office, Kim Mashego. She argues that Guley and Mashego “failed to properly hire, train and supervise” Daniel and “negligently and wantonly” allowed him to break the law while conducting DHR business.

Nearly one year prior to the filing of the lawsuit, Daniel was arrested and charged with soliciting for the purpose of influencing official action, indecent exposure, harassment and theft of property. He became employed with the agency just six months before his arrest. Daniel is currently out on $40,000 bond.

No Money, Mo Problems: Actress Vanessa Williams In Trouble With The IRS

It looks like Vanessa Williams is the latest celebrity to be added to Uncle Sam’s hit list.

According to The Smoking Gun, the former pageant queen owes the government nearly $370,000 in unpaid taxes. A lien was issued against Williams earlier this month demanding $369, 249.89. Apparently, the lien was filed because Williams failed to pay an IRS assessment, which was reportedly issued in 2012.

Although she is currently a resident of Chappaqua, New York, her IRS paperwork was filed under the address of her accounting firm in Manhattan.

Reps for the 51-year-old actress have yet to address the lien.

Even With Beyonce’s Help, Viewership For The MTV VMAs Is Down 18%

Despite all of the chatter about Beyonce’s performance, Blue Ivy’s “Flawless” hands, Nicki’s wardrobe malfunction and Jay Pharoah’s awful impressions, the number of viewers for this year’s MTV VMAs is down 18 percent to 8.3 million viewers. Last year, the awards scored 10.1 million viewers with some help from Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke. And in 2011, the awards set a record with 12.4 million viewers. In 2012, the number of viewers dropped by more than six million people with a move to Thursday night.

There was a lot of action on Twitter with 12.6 million tweets about the awards show.

We’re still waiting for Emmy numbers, but host Seth Meyers opened his monologue last night by talking about the decrease in interest when the awards are broadcast on a Monday, something that hasn’t been done since the 1970s. So perhaps those numbers won’t be all that great.

The one thing that is getting a lot of attention so far is the bit with the president of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Bruce Rosenblum, who took to the stage, as usual, to talk up the awards, but had Sofia Vergara join him, standing quietly while spinning on a pedestal. “Many viewers found the spinning Sofia joke to objectify women on a night when 29 percent of the nominees were female,” notes ETOnline.com.

Damon Dash Remembers Aaliyah On 13 Year Anniversary Of Her Death: ‘It’s A Beautiful Pain’

13 years ago, the entertainment industry suffered a major loss when R&B singer Aaliyah died in a tragic plane crash. Left to mourn were her relatives, friends, fans and boyfriend, Damon Dash. Monday marked another anniversary of the singer’s death and Damon still seems to be grappling with it all, which we completely understand.

“You will always be with me and I feel you protect me every day,” he kicked off a series of Instagram posts. “I know I’m the coolest because you’re the one that told I was… I miss my best friend every day not just today I love you.”

“My nephew lil bobby just sent me this… So crazy… They all loved her cause she played video games and watched cartoons always keep these dudes with me look at @boogiedash,” he continued.

He concluded with an image of Aaliyah at a celebrity softball game.

It has to be difficult losing a significant other, so I can’t even begin to imagine what Dame went through and is probably still going through.

Nick Cannon’s Dad Speaks On Cheating Rumors: ‘Nick Tries Really Hard To Stay Focused’

Over the weekend, we told you that Nick Cannon’s father, James Cannon, shared a questionable and seemingly messy Facebook status that many assumed was about his son and daughter-in-law’s relationship woes.

“Here a thing to talk about if the wife love sex and the man can’t stand making love to her. What should that women do?” he questioned in a post that he later claimed was pulled from his 2011 book, The Calling.

Heres a thing, if the husband say no lies, and the wife lies all the time, what should that man do?

James reportedly spoke to a Page Six source since making the post and he seems to be rooting for Nick and Mariah to work through their issues.

“They need to stick this out,” he reportedly said before adding that they have already spent too much time apart.”Teams of people pulling them separate ways.”

“The love is always going to be there,” he continued. “But they just don’t have that quality of time,” he said. “The last thing Nick will want to do is look back and think the marriage blew up in his face.”

As for rumors that the marriage fell apart because Mariah couldn’t deal with Nick constantly being surrounded by women, James reportedly had this to say:

“Were temptations ever there with other women? Not for Nick, he genuinely loved the married life . . . But did that stop other women coming to him? Probably not.”

“I know Nick tries really hard to stay focused and would say: ‘I’m with the most outstanding, gorgeous woman. I’ve hit the jackpot so why would I be with someone else?’”

He also supposedly claimed that news of the split came as a bit of a surprise to him.

“Everything was beautiful as far as I knew,” James said. “The separation has really caught us off guard.”

He went on:

[Mariah was] “at our home two weeks ago, talking and laughing . . . I’ve never seen them argue.”

“I see Mariah as an angel to our family . . . I never saw [her] as a diva.”

Strangely, he also reportedly told the gossip column that he thinks the marriage would’ve lasted if Nick was more hands on in regard to Mariah’s career.

“If Nick could have somehow ran her business, or worked in conjunction with her, they would have been such a power couple in Hollywood,” he said. “It’s difficult, but look at Beyoncé and Jay Z.”

In other Nick and Mariah news, according to TMZ, the estranged couple reportedly met for dinner last Friday in Tribeca. Sources are claiming that they’re also getting along a lot better since separating. However, insiders add that it’s all for the sake of the children and that there’s no chance for romantic reconciliation.

Remy Ma Talks Being Depressed Behind Bars And Having Papoose By Her Side

It’s been a long journey for Bronx rapper Remy Ma to come home. In May 2008 she went to prison for six years following a shooting incident and that same month, she married her husband, fellow rapper Papoose, while incarcerated. Having someone support her all these years is what kept Remy Ma going, she told us in a recent interview as she talked about being so depressed sometimes she didn’t even feel like writing rhymes or talking to anyone. Remy also talked about other women she encountered in the Bedford Hills maximum security facility where she was housed who had family members and friends who wouldn’t even make the 45-minute trip from the city to visit them behind bars and how much the support of her mom, husband, and even her son meant to her.

Months ago, we learned that the cast of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” threw down at the reunion taping. It was a full out brawl with Joseline attacking Tammy, Althea and Mimi.

A source close to the show, who wanted to remain anonymous, told our sister site Bossip that the reason Joseline was so hell bent on attacking her cast members was because she was under the influence at the time.

This certainly isn’t the first time we’ve heard claims or seen evidence suggesting that Joseline is using. Her “husband” Stevie J, even tested positive for cocaine when he was arrested for back child support.

But at this point people are starting to worry about Joseline’s safety as well as the safety of those around her.

The source said she’s watched Joseline get high on several occasions but doesn’t know whether or not she’s done so on the set of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.”

“I wouldn’t be surprised if she called her connect to get high right before shooting scenes, but that set is closed once the cameras start rolling and no one can come on set.”

The source said that Joseline is not only a threat to herself but to Stevie as well.

“I’m definitely concerned she might take it too far and kill him. Not necessarily on purpose, but Joseline is uncontrollable when she’s high. Who knows what might trigger her to pick up a weapon and use it.”

The source partially blames “Love and Hip Hop” creator Mona Scott Young, who reportedly knows about Joseline’s habit.

In fact, the source claims that Mona has created a monster.

“She needs help and if Mona wanted to do the decent thing she would require her to go to rehab before doing any more filming. Mona created that monster.”

This isn’t an unusual suggestion. Tammy suggested that she wouldn’t be taking part in this show until they started requiring drug tests.

Mona always says their show doesn’t promote violence but that certainly hasn’t been the case in the past. And if the reunion is going to be as bad as the rumors suggest it’s still not true.

But the question is, should Mona require or ask Joseline to take a drug test? Does Mona allowing her to keep working on the show pose a danger to the cast members or somehow suggest that Mona condones the crazy behavior because it increases ratings?

At this point, I can’t think of a reason why she shouldn’t.

Shantel Jackson Gets Real About ‘Relationship’ With Nelly

When Nelly and Shantel Jackson first went public with their romance, most (including myself) assumed that they were in an actual relationship. But as it turns out, the two appear to have more of a situationship. The former fiancée to troubled boxer Floyd Mayweather recently told Hip Hollywood that what she has with Nelly isn’t actually a “full blown” relationship.

“I wouldn’t right now say that it is a full blown relationship. We are getting to know each other, we are building a friendship. So as of right now, everything is like in the beginning stages.”

She also discussed Nelly’s, new reality show, which she will also be appearing on, and dispelled rumors that were floating around about the new project.

“He has this amazing show coming up on BET as of right now. There were rumors that we were already filming or people thought they knew what we were doing, but that was untrue. We haven’t filmed anything as of yet. Everything just came about.” Jackson goes on to tell us that she will definitely be working with the program.”

Maybe the show will provide viewers with a better understanding regarding whatever it is that Nelly and Shantel have going on.

As previously reported, the series will highlight the St. Louis rapper’s business ventures, his children and his “relationship” with Shantel.

Tami Roman has lost a ton of weight since she last appeared on VH1′s “Basketball Wives.” And while some are loving the new slim and trim Tami, others have been criticizing her for losing so much weight. The reality TV veteran recently decided to clap back at her critics with a post that reads:

“I have to hear how skinny I am on EVERY post. I am not trying, I have diabetes and this is just my world right now,” the mother of two expressed on Instagram. “I am fine and dealing with my illness accordingly.”

“If you can’t handle me this way, please unfollow, because I don’t want to be reminded of something I already know and have no control over,” she said.

We get how Tami could feel a way about people constantly discussing her weight—especially if she had to shed those pounds for health reasons. Hopefully fans will layoff after this.

Nicki Minaj Opens VMAs With Booty-Poppin’ “Anaconda” Performance, But Has An Awkward Wardrobe Malfunction…

As the VMAs began, Ariana Grande opened the show with her new song “Break Free,” and at one point, Minaj was able to take over the main stage to perform “Anaconda” for the first time. In a sequin green two-piece, Minaj showcased her curves (“he can tell I ain’t missin’ no meals”) and did a whole lot of popping that famous backside for the audience (including a very bewildered Rita Ora).

Eventually, Jessie J hopped on stage to start “Bang Bang,” and in a new revealing outfit, Grande joined her. Only person left to join in on the fun was Nicki Minaj. But when the MC did finally hit the stage, things went a tad bit left. It seems that Minaj was pushed out on stage before she had the chance to zip up her skin-tight black gown, and eventually we all realized that something went horribly wrong with the zipper and she actually couldn’t zip it up at all. So for another minute or so, Minaj walked around the stage uncomfortably trying to keep her lower regions covered and holding the dress on with her other hand plastered on her chest. Meanwhile, Jessie J and Grande walked around her singing their little hearts out. I know Minaj was too happy when that whole thing was over with…But no worries, because she’ll have a chance to make up for all that. She’s reportedly set to take the stage with Usher and might even pop up with Beyoncé later in the show. We shall see!

Some men are only after one thing: a power struggle.

Pulling your hair out, perplexed and frustrated as to why the man you love doesn’t seem to reciprocate your unrequited love? After all, you know that no other woman will ever be as caring and loving as you are with him. Your friends have given up trying to convince you that you’re too good for him. He may have even told you that you deserve better. But despite his lackluster feelings for you, why can’t you stop trying to change him? Why are you holding onto the idea of “I’m the best thing that will ever happen to him?”

Let me guess — in the beginning, he was magical. He treated you better than any man ever has. He seemingly worshiped you and acted pleasantly surprised that such a super woman as yourself gave him the time of day. And this was all happening when you weren’t so nice, so attentive and loving — when you were feeling unsure about him and guarded.

Then you started to care about him. Your heart began to warm over and you started to feel safer in his presence. Soon you were cooking for him, listening to all his problems, working out harder in the gym for him, maybe even buying him things. You were his mother, psychologist, trophy girl and sex kitten all in one. Maybe you were feeling a bit off your center. You weren’t living for your choices anymore; instead, you were influenced by his behavior. You burned bucket-loads of energy on thoughts about him, you became sensitive to his moods, and you planned your week around his schedule.

Then something happened. It was as if he slowly turned around and walked the other way, away from you. He stopped calling as often and metamorphosed into a moody, snippy and cold jerk, as if your love annoyed him.

This isn’t an article about how you lost him because you started to focus on him — that he lost interest because you cared too much or smothered him. Chances are you did nothing unhealthy in the dating relationship. You just started to fall in love, and that’s normal. It’s normal to feel off your center in the beginning of a love affair. It’s normal to think about him and worry about what his actions and words really mean. You cared about him and those feelings made you vulnerable to him. It’s normal that you felt insecure and clingy when he suddenly pulled away without transparent communication — a person with poor conflict resolution skills can bring out your own. Any dating or love advice calling you needy or smothering is only designed to keep you pursuing the wrong type of men.

But here is the real truth: this guy is the wrong guy for you. It’s that simple.
