Well, we know that there’s one person who isn’t too sad to see “American Idol” go. During a recent interview with Australian radio program The Kyle and Jackie O Show, former “Idol” judge Mariah Carey made it clear that she would never, ever, return to “American Idol.” Not even for the final season.

“Hell no! Absolutely not. That was the worst experience of my life,” the singer bluntly told the radio hosts.

As for her infamous feud with Nicki Minaj, the 45-year-old seemed to imply that the two were setup by producers.

“I’m not going to get into what it was, but let’s just say I don’t think they had any intentions for us to have a good experience doing that show,” she alleged. “Pitting two females against each other wasn’t cool.”

She went on to say that the experience would’ve been better if the focus was on the music as opposed to her issues with the rapper.

“It should have been about the contestants instead of about some nonexistent feud that turned into even more ridiculousness. I would never want to be involved with it again.”
