Taking a page out of the Kim K playbook, Caitlyn Jenner broke the internet yesterday (she’s still trending on Twitter this morning) and broke the Guinness record for shortest time to one million Twitter followers.
It took Jenner a mere four hours and three minutes to reach the benchmark, beating the previous record of 4 1/2 hours set by President Obama.

As of this morning, Jenner has only posted three tweets. The first was the now-iconic Vanity Fair cover (amazing photos!). The second is the tweet below:
I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me.

And shortly after, this tweet:
Another Jenner world record, and at 65? Who'da thought! Humbled & honored to have reached 1M followers in 4 hrs. Thank you for your support.

President Obama himself had this to say about Jenner’s story.
It takes courage to share your story. https://t.co/Q7wWjV9Rxx

Since the cover was revealed yesterday, Jenner has received heaps of praise and support from the Twitterverse. Celebrities, regular folks and advocacy groups have taken a moment to congratulate Jenner on her new life, her strength and her fabulous new look. She’s currently up to 1.99 million followers.
