Theoretically, you only get one shot at marriage and only one wedding day so it’s easy to understand why so many people have elaborate, over-the-top ceremonies to exchange vows, but these celebrities almost broke the bank when they said “I do.”

Mendeecees Harris is looking at a reported eight-year prison sentence when he turns himself in this summer, but that didn’t stop him or Yandy Smith from spending over $500,000 when they said, “I do” live on VH1 last month. The flowers for the ceremony alone were $90,000. They dropped another $12,500 for blinged –out selfie sticks, $5,700 for a cake, $69,000 for the two wedding gowns Yandy wore and more than $20,000 on shoes and gowns for the bridesmaids. Yandy’s wedding ring cost $30,000 while Mendeecees’ ring cost a more modest $12,000.
