Earlier this week, we officially placed Ciara Harris, 29, and Russell Wilson, 26, on our cute couple radar. The good-looking duo stepped out for the first time together on Tuesday when they attended a White House state dinner. Since she’s fresh out of a broken engagement, fans naturally began comparing Wilson to Harris’ ex-fiancé Future. So much so, that Future found it necessary to send tweets informing the world that he could care less about his ex’s new relationship.
I wish I cared

When asked about the recent outing, Harris denied attending the dinner with the Seattle Seahawks quarterback to spite Future.
“I don’t believe in being vengeful, or trying to send a message to someone,” she told The New York Daily News. “You waste your energy that way. But I am confident.”
Speaking of Future, Harris, whose new album Jackie hits stores Tuesday, did admit that her recent single “I Bet” was inspired by a personal experience.
“The song is definitely inspired by my real-life experience,” she said. “When you believe in yourself and you always give 100% in a relationship, you’re very confident in the value of your love. But for some people, there’s that feeling that the grass is always greener.”
As for co-parenting with Future in the wake of her breakup, Ciara is clearly taking the high road.
“When having a child, it’s not about his father and I. It’s about the child. We’re adults.”
While she wouldn’t confirm or deny her rumored relationship with Wilson, she did have this to say:
“I’m having an amazing time right now in life, that I can tell you.”
What I can appreciate most about Cici is her ability to remain positive and her refusal to dog Future to the press.
