It’s hard being a young Christian woman in the spotlight, especially when you’re a preacher’s kid, and that struggle is even harder when your brother has seemingly gone the way of the world. Gospel recording artist Kierra Sheard knows that battle all too well and when she stopped by the office to appear on our weekly segment Did Y’all See?, she nearly broke down in the after show discussing their relationship.
Kierra, also known as KiKi, worked with her brother on her latest album, which the 27-year-old said meant the world to her. And as she fought back tears, she talked about her goal of bringing young men and women back into the fold and why the church has to learn the difference between condemnation and conviction when it comes to helping others in their walk with God.
