Before the holidays, Kenya Moore opened up about her plans to produce a sitcom pilot titled “Life Twirls On.” The former pageant queen’s brainchild has become a reality and she recently premiered the full trailer.

The half-hour comedy pilot is said to be based on the life on the 44-year-old and features actor Leon Robinson, singer D. Woods, Janet Hubert and Moore’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star Cynthia Bailey.

The plot picks up with character Kenya Brown (Moore) who is preparing to marry her college sweetheart. On the day of the ceremony, she discovers her new husband in a questionable position with her “THOTish” younger sister and decides end the marriage after less than 24 hours. From there, all hell breaks loose as she struggles to put her life back together while suffering from an apparent nervous breakdown. Check out a full synopsis below:

The Brown sisters are each at different crossroads in their lives as they struggle to navigate their new and often uncomfortable living arrangement while dealing with their daily deep-seated family issues, new relationships and ever-evolving life changes, and personal battles.

The middle Brown sister, Kenya marries her former college sweetheart. Soon after catching him in a compromising position with her younger THOTish sister. Nearly suffering from a nervous breakdown, their Aunt Lorraine intercedes and forces them to temporarily move in with Kenya in her mansion to work through their family issues.

Although reluctant, Aunt Lori has a way of getting what she wants as they all both fear and respect the matriarch of the family after their mother passed away 10 years ago. The older sister Robin is forced to be the therapist but is often the pot-stirrer interjecting her off-beat brand of therapy.

Kenya discovers she may have been hasty with judging the actions and motives of her younger sister. The family comes to realize that they need more than a week to solve their issues and need each other’s love and support more than they realized

If you know Kenya, then you know the trailer is way over the top. But that’s exactly what we’ve come to expect from Ms. Moore, so that’s no surprise. So far, there has been no word on a network picking up the sitcom, but Moore seemed pretty confident that her work will make it to the masses.

Judging by the trailer, it seems that wasn’t a huge budget for the pilot. But if picked up by the right network, I think the show may have the potential to do alright.
