Jill Of All Trades: Willow Smith To Model Marc Jacobs 2015 Fall/Winter Collection

Ever since our first Juergen Teller ad in 1998 which featured Kim Gordon on stage wearing my dress, I have always preferred collaborating with the people who inspire me to give new life to the clothes we show on our runway. Over the years we have photographed an incredibly diverse and exceptional group of talented friends and individuals who I greatly admire: Victoria Beckham, Jamie Bochert, Jarvis Cocker, Sofia Coppola, Miley Cyrus, Dakota Fanning, William Eggleston, Jessica Lange, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Stephen Malkmus, Samantha Morton, Kate Moss, Charlotte Rampling, Winona Ryder, Stephanie Seymour, Cindy Sherman, Michael Stipe, and Rufus Wainwright, just to name a few. Beauty, style and talent know no age. It is those individuals whose creativity, unique vision, and voice inspire all of us here to create and express ourselves through our medium: fashion. Photographed by David Sims, this season’s ads feature friends, each of whom evoke a sense of intrigue and inspiration and collectively provoke a true consideration for individuality. Here today I would like to share (not CHER) with you first, the talented, stylish and charming Willow Smith @gweelos Stay tuned over the coming weeks for more…

Singer/actress Willow Smith always seems to be a media magnet and fashion trendsetter. So what better choice for designer Marc Jacobs to model his fall/winter campaign.

Jacobs revealed his model choice on Instragram with a photo of the 14-year-old Willow. Jacobs called the young starlet “talented, stylish and charming.”

Willow will join music icon Cher in promoting Marc Jacobs. Last week, Jacobs announced he tapped the 69-year-old  Cher to model. According to Jacobs, his upcoming line will focus on showcasing people who inspire him and “evoke a sense of intrigue and inspiration and collectively provoke a true consideration for individuality.”

It’s a busy time for Willow. She also recently released her first music video in two years for her new song “F Q-C #7,” reports ET. And get it straight– the song is pronounced “frequency number seven.”

The song’s video is as eccentric and unorthodox as the singer. In the clip, there are four Willows. “The different Me’s represent my Chakras,” she told The Fader. “Yellow is Self-confidence, Blue is my voice (song), Red is my survival instinct, and the Black is a combination of everything (the true me).”

Willow wrote the track, and self-produced and co-directed the video.
