Back in March, Zoe Kravitz was explaining that she doesn’t have a boyfriend because men “no one ever asks” her out. According to the Mad Max: Fury Road star, guys are way too intimidated by her coolness. But oh, what a difference just two months can make.
Over the weekend while in France for the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival, Zoe and fellow thespian, Mos Def or Yasiin Bey, spent quite a bit of time together and while we’re not implying that a man and woman can’t be in each other’s presence without becoming romantic, these two look mighty close.
On Sunday, Zoe snapped and shared a selfie with the “Ms. Fat Booty” rapper. Judging by the photo alone, it could be argued that the relationship shared between the two is simply platonic, but the fact that she referred to him as “bae” in the caption tells a different story.
Looking at things from a surface level, it seems that Zoe and Mos Def would be a perfect match, but some are wondering how appropriate this relationship can be considering that there is a 15-year age gap between them. Zoe is just 26 years old while Mos Def is 41.
It’s not clear what Zoe’s parents Lenny Kravitz,. 50, and Lisa Bonet, 47, think of this rumored relationship, but it looks like Lenny and Mos Def are quite fond of one another.

At this point, I would consider Zoe a grown and mature young lady who is capable of making her own decisions. Who are we to judge what’s going down between two consenting adults? But let’s not jump the gun. Perhaps we should just stay tuned to find out what’s really going on between these two.
