The Mindy Project may have been canceled by Fox but picked up by Hulu, Mindy Kaling has something else brewing. She and her on again-off again kind of ex (???) B.J. Novak will earn $7.5 million for writing a book about their off-and-on romance, reports The New York Daily News.
The book promised to spill some juicy info on the
The Officestars’ “complicated” relationship, which coincided with their roles on the NBC comedy, which ran from 2005 to 2013.A division of Random House will publish the book, whose title will probably be announced on May 30 at the Javits Center, where the pair are to appear at BookCon.
Kaling will already be there to promote her second book of essays, Why Not Me? It follows her 2011 best seller, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns).
The rumored relationship book will surely grab attention. “Kaling and Novak have been pretty quiet about their relationship until now. Last September, Kaling opened up about things on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show, saying her co-star had broken her heart a decade ago, when she was only 24. She also confessed she might have married him then,” reports the Daily News.
Novak meanwhile told People magazine Kaling is “a really complicated person and a really complicated friendship, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world,” he said.
Sounds like they have a one-of-a-kind relationship. Could you handle a relationship like this?
