The bitter feud between Damon Dash and his ex-wife Rachel Roy is heating up. Last week, the fashion designer called the cops on her famous ex-hubby because she claimed that he hadn’t been sending one of their daughters to school, TMZ reports.
According to court documents, Roy has been trying to have Dash’s visitation privileges revoked because she considers him to be an unfit father. She also alleged that he kidnapped their daughter from a nail salon. She is also reportedly alleging that he is a drug addict with a history of domestic violence.
Dash, however, believes that his ex is simply using their children as a pawn in her attempt to make a power move on him. He hasn’t made it clear what he thinks her motive for all of this is.
“Using the kids to get back at the fathers does nothing positive for the kids,” the former hip hop mogul wrote on Instagram yesterday. “Crazy how hard I’ve had to fight to be a good dad with emotional women…. The math just doesn’t add up to me…but I will always fight to make sure my kids have a mother and a father but it’s the most non logical fight on the planet.”
He also released footage of the police waiting for him at his Los Angeles home after Roy called the authorities on him and just two weeks ago, the Roc-A-Fella founder accused Roy of trying to keep him away from his kids.
It’s unfortunate that things have come to this. Hopefully, they can find a way to reach a happy medium—although it doesn’t appear that this will be happening in the near future.
