Last month, we learned that Chris Brown fathered a child during his relationship with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran. The news came as a shock to many and for a while, Chris did not publicly confirm whether or not the paternity reports were true. However, as time went on, photos of little Royalty being taken to visit her father during a tour stop in Houston, Texas surfaced and the rest was history.
Though it seems that Chris only recently learned of Royalty’s existence, the two already appear to be bonding beautifully. Last night, the singer took to Instagram to share his first photo with the bright-eyed tot.
“God has blessed me with my twin. #ROYALTY,” he captioned the photo.
The “Loyal” singer then followed up with another image of the curly-haired cutie.
Earlier this week, the troubled star took to Instagram with a heartfelt message about wanting to do better for the sake of his family. Perhaps, Miss Royalty will give him the strength and the drive to accomplish that goal.
Of course, a couple of social media photos are not proof that a man is being an active and engaged father, but I will admit that it was both surprising and refreshing to see Chris share a photo of his baby girl, considering the scandal surrounding her conception. In many cases, we see celebrity men who father children outside of what’s supposed to be a monogamous relationship completely ignore the child in public forums.
Anyway, as I’ve stated before, I’m rooting for Chris. Hopefully, this is the beginning of many steps in the right direction.
