Couples came and went on VH1’s original “Love & Hip Hop” but Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris have been fixtures on the show for a couple of seasons. Yandy even stood by her man and held things down on the home front when Mendeecees was arrested and held for a year in prison on federal drug charges. Soon after he was released, the couple learned their family would be growing yet again. She gave birth to a baby girl earlier this year and as the latest season of the show wrapped, it was announced that the couple would be getting married in front of the cameras as part of their own spin-off special this summer. But the honeymoon phase may short lived depending on the outcome of Mendeecees’ pending case.
